Alan Franklin is a character in Douglas Adams' Dirk Gently books.
Biography[]
Alan Franklin was a therapist. Kate Schechter had seen him for a few sessions after the death of her husband Luke.
Later, Kate called him to have Franklin give her a recommendation to be able to meet Ralph Standish at the Woodshead Hospital.[1]
